This approach is foundational for sustaining a rigorous training regimen and achieving consistent gains. The scientific rationale underpinning prehab is robust. Organizations such as the American College of Sports Medicine advocate for an integrated fitness approach that incorporates flexibility, mobility, and stability. Research published in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research demonstrates that targeted mobility drills can enhance range of motion in key lifts like the squat, simultaneously reducing localized joint stress.
